Classroom noise meter
Free with a teacher account. Show the class how loud it is, set a limit, and the bell rings when the class goes over it. Sound is measured on this device and never recorded. This is the Sound level from OpenEduCat Board, where it sits next to everything else you use in a lesson.
OpenEduCat Board puts this sound meter on one page with a timer, a name picker and groups, for the projector.
Free account. Sign in once on each device; the board then works offline. The meter you set here travels with you.

- Quiet working time, with the meter on the projector.
- Group work, with a higher limit than silent reading.
- A bell when the class goes over the limit, so you do not have to say it.

Questions
Does it record the class?
No. Sound is measured on this device and never recorded.
Why does it ask for the microphone?
The meter reads the level from the microphone. If you say no, the page stays as it is and the meter does not move; you can allow it later in the browser.
Does it need internet?
Only to sign in once on each device. After that the Sound level on OpenEduCat Board works offline; this page needs a connection.
Where is my data?
This page keeps your settings in this tab and saves nothing. Open it on the board and they are saved with your screen in your account.
