Add your school's logo and colour
A School workspace can show one logo and one school colour on boards and printed sheets, checked so text stays readable.
Set the brand
- Sign in as a workspace admin, then go to tools.openeducat.org/school/settings/branding.
- Under Logo, choose an SVG, PNG or JPEG of up to 2 MB. It is checked before it shows.
- Under School colour, type the colour as hex or pick it. The result under the field says if it passes.
- Choose Save. New boards show the brand at once, and sheets you print from now on.
Good to know
- The logo sits on a white tile so it stays clear in dark mode, and it is never recoloured.
- An SVG logo is drawn as a PNG when you add it, and only the PNG is kept.
- A colour too light for fills is kept as a thin band, and a darker shade of it is used for text.
- Teal and marigold cannot be the school colour, because on the board they mean action and live state.
- The brand never appears on credential generators, the SAMPLE watermark, buttons or charts.
- While the workspace is read-only, the brand stays in use but cannot change.
- Every change to the brand is logged with who made it and when.
