Make a name tracing sheet
- Open the name tracing worksheet generator from All tools and sign in with Google, Microsoft or a code we email you.
- Type the name as the child will write it.
- Pick Dotted for every line to trace, or Print or Cursive for lines to trace and lines to write on. For cursive, pick the handwriting model. Then pick the level and how many lines follow the model line.
- Press Build sheet, then choose A4 or Letter and press Print or Download PDF. Type the next name and build again for the next child.
Good to know
- A name too long for one line is broken at a space, or between letters when it has no space, so it is never cut off.
- KG and Grade 1 lines are 15 mm tall with a 5 mm middle band; Grade 2 lines are 12 mm with a 4 mm band.
- Tracing fonts cover Latin letters only. A Hindi or Arabic name gets an outline of the print letters to trace, and the sheet says so; an Arabic name runs right to left.
