Question paper generator

Plan a paper by sections and marks, type the questions and print it with a marking scheme.

Make a question paper

  1. Open the question paper generator from All tools and sign in with Google, Microsoft or a code we email you.
  2. Type the subject, the class, the total marks and the time.
  3. Add a section for each part of the paper: its question type, how many questions and the marks each.
  4. Type the questions, one per line, then press Print or Download PDF.

When the marks do not add up

  • A line under the sections names the difference, such as "Add 4 marks or change the total."
  • The paper shows and prints once the sections add up to the total.

Good to know

  • A question not typed yet prints as its number and a ruled line to write on.
  • The marking scheme is the last page, so keep it apart from the class copies.
  • This page holds no board patterns. Add the sections of your CBSE or State board pattern yourself.
  • You type the questions. To draft them in an AI chat, choose Copy a prompt. To draft them here with your own AI key, turn on Improve with AI.
  • Your paper stays on this device until you sign out. Print or download the paper to keep it.
